Time- a duration regarded as belonging to the present life as distinct from the life to come or from eternity; finite duration
Many great singers have sung about 'time'...John Mayer sings about stopping time because he dislikes speed and the fast paced lifesytle it brings. He says, "Stop this train, I want to get off and go home again." John wants to go back in time where safety, security and familiarity are reminiscent. Lynyrd Skynyard alludes to being away from his beloved Alabama far too long and so he sings, "Big wheels keep on turning, carrying me home to see my kin." He's taking time to go back to the southland. King David's describes time in Psalm 39 when he says our days are but a mere handbreath. In his song, he asks God to show him his life's end and the number of his days.
Time is a precious and valuable. Our lives are constantly headed in and out of seasons, stages and mile markers measured by our good friend...time. Something else that is significant and noteworthy to mention about time is that since my last post we moved one week closer to Fusion! Isn't that awesome! Stuff Masters can you hear me???
