We all know that the number 3 is special as it promotes unity and completion. Some of my smallest joys come in 3's...like tennis balls in a can, ice cream scoops in a float, snowballs in a snowman...the list could go on and on. I like the number 3 today espcially because it means I don't have to wait much longer for Fusion! Why you ask? Because it is only 3 weeks away! Stuff Masters can I get an Amen?
I know you all are pumped as well. And lets be honest, three weeks is not that long. I bet you can remember what you were doing three weeks ago. For example, 3 short weeks ago, the crew here at The RightNow Campaign stuffed ourselves in Marc's office and sat in on a conference call with none other than the amazing, Erwin McManus. He gave a 15 minute testimony about finding the God-given dream in each person. He reminded us that we are not trying to sell a vision for people to buy into but we are to pour our lives into people to glorify Christ because everyone is pre-great...a 'gonna-be' not a 'wanna-be.' Those words have stuck with me since that call and whal-la...3 weeks later I'm still wrestling with that message and it means for my life.
My friends, what does all this mean? In 3 short weeks you are going to get insightful info from some of our generations greatest motivators. In 3 short weeks you are going to get razzled between your head and your heart in a way that promises personal sharpening and encouragement. So come ready, come prepared and in 3 weeks, we'll see you there!

25x3/2-8.5+16-41= ?
Ode to the number 4. We at the RightNow Campaign are focusing on the number 4 because that represents a number of weeks before we see your beautiful faces! I wonder if anyone took the time to figure out the equation. If you did, thank you.
We hope that you all are starting to get gitty and antsy like us. Around our offices, the aroma of excitement has begun to stir us up as we have officially moved into the 'less than a month away' marker. This is about the time that we see Fusion in sight. That means Lonnie gets fired up and Marc gets crazy. I would not be surprised if Marc came in to work tomorrow with a Mohawk. I'm serious! Lonnie on the other hand can not give himself a Mohawk...but he can give a 3-point exegetical sermonette on Rocketdogs VS Sketchers.
Well, I had better give you Stuff Master's and Fusion attendees some useful content before you stop reading my random thougths.
Be sure to let me know if you need any more Rave Cards or ideas of how you can get the word out to your circles about Fusion. Thank you for all your hard work and passion for our generation. You have a big job here so please know you are appreciated!

Sweet Texas
Anyone watch the game on Saturday...what game am I talking about? Only one of the most important football games of University of Texas' season...TX vs OU. Our beloved Lonnie (most of you know who I am talking about) is an avid OU fan. He bleeds OU crimson and cream. He has family in Oklahoma...namely his inlaws, but back in the 70's one of his best friend's got recruited to be a linebacker for OU. Lonnie got to go with this friend on his recruiting trip to Norman and that's when it all changed for Lonnie Smith. He never came back the same...he became a Sooner and a faithful one at that. We have forgiven him and just give him a hard time when things go wrong for the Sooners...like this weekend. The score on Saturday was 45-35...though OU lost Lonnie said himself, and I quote, "It was a great game." Isn't it classy that Lonnie can take such a tremendous loss with grace and gentleness? That's what we love about Lonnie.
When I think about football season winding down, I get really excited. Not because it gives us something else to talk about here at the RightNow Campaign, but because this year, it means that Fusion is right around the corner! November 14 is slowly creeping up and that's awesome! Even more exciting than TX beating OU...this year's most life impacting event is coming to Irving Bible Church. Stuff Master's, can you hear me...the clock is moving fast as we hit mid-October...already!

Well folks, it's been fun reflecting on this past weekends excitement. If you missed the game and need a highlight re-cap, just contact Lonnie...he can fill you in.
Blessings,
Natalie

Time, Time is Ticking By...
Time- a duration regarded as belonging to the present life as distinct from the life to come or from eternity; finite duration
Many great singers have sung about 'time'...John Mayer sings about stopping time because he dislikes speed and the fast paced lifesytle it brings. He says, "Stop this train, I want to get off and go home again." John wants to go back in time where safety, security and familiarity are reminiscent. Lynyrd Skynyard alludes to being away from his beloved Alabama far too long and so he sings, "Big wheels keep on turning, carrying me home to see my kin." He's taking time to go back to the southland. King David's describes time in Psalm 39 when he says our days are but a mere handbreath. In his song, he asks God to show him his life's end and the number of his days.
Time is a precious and valuable. Our lives are constantly headed in and out of seasons, stages and mile markers measured by our good friend...time. Something else that is significant and noteworthy to mention about time is that since my last post we moved one week closer to Fusion! Isn't that awesome! Stuff Masters can you hear me??? We are now only 6 weeks away! Time is moving folks! Get that word out! Take time now to make every Young Adult you know aware of this life changing event.
